<p>The goal of this module is to keep standard UoM for inventory for a product, but to automatically select another UoM in the same category when the product is added to Sales Order line.</p>

<p>To use features of this module, you need to:</p>
<ol class="arabic simple">
<li>Go to Sales > Products > Products</li>
<li>Open a product.</li>
<li>You will see a field called 'Default Sale UoM' on the form view.</li>
<li>Now you can set the default UOM of the same category UOM that is selected in 'Unit of Measure' field.</li>
